Dr. Todd J. Reuter is the founder and head of Sarasota Oral and Implant Surgery and leads TDN’s oral surgery practice segment. Dr. Reuter holds leadership positions in state and national organizations and serves as the Section Chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Reuter holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida.  Dr. Reuter completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, General Surgery, and Anesthesia training at University of Florida Shands Jacksonville and is currently licensed to practice both medicine and dentistry in the state of Florida.  Dr. Reuter received numerous awards for service, education, and research at academic centers and at scientific meetings and has authored research in facial trauma, pathology, and reconstruction.  Dr. Reuter has always enjoyed the unique multispecialty management of cleft lip and palate patients and is a proud member of the Sarasota Cleft Lip and Palate Team.

Dr. Reuter is supported by his wife Elena and three children. He enjoys spending his time with family and friends enjoying many hobbies including golf, scuba diving, fishing, and biking. Dr. Reuter and his wife are proud members of the Sarasota community and support many local schools and charities.
