Dr. Scott Roemer is a co-head at Sarasota Oral and Implant Surgery and helps lead TDN’s oral surgery practice segment. Dr. Roemer is both a licensed dentist (DMD) and physician (MD) in the state of Florida as well as is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the pinnacle distinction in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Roemer holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor Chemistry from University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated at the top of his class summa cum laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honors society.  Dr. Roemer earned a Doctor of Medicine  from the University of Florida.  Dr. Roemer completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida, Jacksonville where he received extensive training and certifications in anesthesia, general surgery, and learned the newest skills and techniques in bone grafting, implants, soft tissue grafting, pathology, reconstruction, and minimally invasive TMJ management.

Dr. Roemer lives in Sarasota with his wife Christina and their two dogs Tucker and Macee. Outside of oral surgery Dr. Roemer enjoys fishing, golfing, tennis, and supporting the Gators.
