Dr. Manav Malik, also known as Dr. M&M, is the founder and visionary behind SmileWorks Kids Dentistry in Sarasota, Florida and co-leads TDN’s pediatric practice segment. 

Dr. M&M is motivated by shaping a child's perception of dentistry into something fun and positive at every visit. To him, there is no better reward than hearing a parent say how much their child “loves going to the dentist.” That is why he and his wife, a clinical psychologist, built a fun, engaging, open, play-oriented office environment for kids.

Dr. M&M received a Bachelors in Biology from the University of Miami. He attended dental school at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric dental residency at the Baylor College of Dentistry in association with Children's Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He completed his board certification in pediatric dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Malik has served as the President of the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and he currently serves as a national Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Malik, his wife, and three children live in Sarasota. In his free time, Dr. Malik enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His other interests include aviation, travel planning, home improvement projects, fishing, cycling, watching NBA and NFL, and family trips.
